18" wheelchair extension is designed for the above the knee amputee. The solid seat has locking leg extensions which can be lowered for ease of transfers. The seat is held in place by a strap. In order to attach the hinge approximately 1 1/2" is required at the front of the seat this will increase the overall seating depth unless the upholstery is moved back. The hinge extension is 9" long foam cushions on the extensions, are 2" thick and are held in place with hook and loop.
